Herringbone Knit

I'm trying out this new knitting pattern and I'm going to say it's my new favorite.

This stitch does turn out incredible flat  looks pretty nice on the backside as well.

Herringbone knit on size 10 1/2 needles

Directions:

Row 1: *Ssk, dropping only the first stitch off your needle,* rep from * to last st, k.
Row 2: *P2tog, dropping only the first stitch off your needle,* rep from * to last st, p.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you have reached your desired width.
