After the Wedding

So it's been about 9 days now still the wedding =D. and I've really enjoyed blogging about it. I have some pictures already, that I want to post, but they need some Organizing and Whatnot. Anyways, It's been busy, and I had a bit of a cold too. Anyways stay tuned for more updates such as:

Final Dress Fitting Pictures!

Here are some pictures from my final dress fitting. 2 weeks and 1 day left. It's getting really close! Some more wedding related stuff:

We talked to the florist, and picked flowers discussed bouquets, centerpieced and other flower stuff.

OMG! - Less than 3 weeks!

So I can no longer say 'we've got some time' the 'Big day' is approaching rather quickly now. I'm glad that I've got this new job, but some free time right now would be nice. Anyways, some other updates. I have my final dress fitting on the August 8th, we also have a meeting with Mt. Bakery (the Cake Makers), and a meeting with the Caterer later in August. We still need flowers, and to meet with the DJ & the Photographer. There are lots of last minute things to do a figure out. Hopefully we can get everything together. Ok, back to work!

My New Job

I got a job today. it is at Retrotec. I had an interview at 10am, and got called at 4pm that they wanted to have me start on Monday. I guess they liked me. That means That I have to drive down to Everett to sign some papers for the temp agency that got me the interview. I'm excited, but I also hope I won't have problems getting back into a work schedule. (I'm not a morning person, and I haven't had to get up earlier that 9am for about 5 months now. Anyways Just wanted to let everyone know what's up with me! =)

Ring Pillow/ Flower Girl Basket/ Garter

So I found someone on etsy.com that makes custom garters and ^ other accessories. I asked for an example in my colors (Chocolate Brown & Pink) and here is the results that sent me!

I'm really excited, I think they turned out perfect, and the Baskets are Adorable and the pillow is really elegant. Plus they match! since not much will be really matching I'm exicted that the wedding party will have something special and handmade to walk down the aisle with! (I haven't written with this many exclamations points before I was engaged!)

Oh yeah and my garter will match as well! I'm very proud of my etsy find, and happy the maker was so accommodating.

Wedding Dress in!

This Friday I have an appointment because My dress ready for me. They said it would be done August 1st, but they were really early. Yay! I was getting nervous. Hopefully everything fits just right! okay. My dress is a simple strapless A-line and all Lace. okay that's all for now!

Non-Wedding Related Kitten Post!!

Me and Jesse just picked up our new Kitten from the Bellingham Adoption Center, yesterday. Here are cute pictures of 'Billy the kitten'.

Wedding Party Tree Ribbon.

We found some nice ribbions for the party tree at JoAnns. Things are really coming together. (I hope).

They are pretty wide so I think they will work really nicely.

Also, We found a nice bookcase, and some friends helped us move it in. I think it looks pretty nice, plus it was just in our price range (free).

Invitation Makin' (DIY)

My Shoes

We found these shoes at a cute place in Bellingham, next to Fiamma Burger. They fit my criteria perfectly, and my foot. I wanted a heel, but not a high one. I don't wear heels often and I tend to twist my ankle in very uncomfotable angles when I do. These I felt like I could walk in. the color is technicaly seaform, but this is going to be my something blue. I think it will add a little something fun also. Another 'criteria', was that I didn't want all my toes hanging out, this peep toes is perfect. Anyways I never really thought of myself as a shoe girl, (seeing as I never wear heels) but I did fall in love with these. The little leaf petal, and I acctaully felt like I will wear these after the wedding as well.

I'd wear them now if I wasn't worried about them getting dirty. okay. Shoes. Check!

Mini Lanterns In

I ordered some (24) of the mini-lanterns in the silver, for the center pieces. I think that they will be really cute, and give the tables more of a 'hobbit-y' feel. I'm kinda trying to go for an old-world feel, and not really a 'theme'. I've also got a really cute ribbon that is striped with pink, chocolate, gold and green.

These lanterns, however, are probably not that green, but I do plan on having them be kept and used. There also did not seems to be any local options that worked.

Allergies are really getting to me this season, I'm really hoping it does not interfer any more.

Honeymoon Booked!

We have our honeymoon hotels booked. We have been going back and forth about a lot of different places and I stumbled upon Victoria,B.C.on a wedding website. I didn't want to spend most of our Honeymoon traveling and I know we wanted to see really beautiful nature and animals, (without camping). This is perfect and I get more and more excited the more I think about it. We're going to spend a couple of days in Victoria at the Emperess Hotel (!) and see Victoria, then We're going to stay a this awesome lodge in Ucluelet right on the Beach. Maybe go Bear watching.

Costa Rica Pack
